A dental emergency needs prompt treatment, and we can help when emergencies strike.
Life can be unpredictable, and although dental emergencies may not happen often, it is important to be prepared for them. When you have a serious problem with your teeth and mouth, all sorts of thoughts may run through your head: is the damage permanent? How long will I have to look like this? How bad is it? At Kimberly W. Fee DMD, we understand that a dental emergency in Prescott, Arizona, can be scary, and we are committed to helping you get things back to normal. Dental emergencies comprise a wide range of issues including severe pain in your tooth or mouth, or pain that will not go away; a tooth that has been completely or partially knocked out; a chipped cracked or broken tooth, a lost filling or crown, or damage to your lips, tongue, cheeks or gums.
If you experience a dental emergency, you should stay calm and contact our office at 928-778-7410 right away, and we will see you as soon as possible. We will also give you instructions on things that you can do to take care of yourself until you have your appointment at our office. Remember that dental first aid is just that: first aid. Even if you manage to stop the pain or the bleeding, you still need to see us for treatment. If you have experienced additional damage to your head or neck, have bleeding that will not stop, or have broken your jaw, you should go to the emergency room at the nearest hospital.
