Preventive Treatment - Most oral disease can be prevented though good oral hygiene practices and healthy lifestyle choices. It
is our goal to give you the tools, information, and treatment necessary to combat dental issues and to maintain a healthy smile.
Restorative Dentistry - Traditional dentistry's objective is the restoration of natural teeth that have been damaged,
decayed or lost. For teeth that have decay, we can use a variety of direct filling materials to repair the tooth, such as amalgam
or composite. We also offer more durable indirect options, such as porcelain or gold inlays/onlays. If the tooth is too damaged
to support a filling, a crown may be needed. A crown covers the whole tooth and protects it from breaking. If a tooth is missing,
there are several treatment options. A fixed bridge can be fabricated to replace the tooth, a removable partial denture can be
made, or an implant can be placed.
Cosmetic Dentistry - Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of a person's teeth mouth and smile. Some of the
treatments we offer include:
- Inlays/Onlays: Also known as indirect fillings, these restorations are made from porcelain and are a long-lasting yet
cosmetic way to provide a filling to teeth that have decay or structural damage. Inlays and onlays are created in a dental
laboratory and then adhesively bonded into place.
- Composite Bonding: Broken, chipped, discolored or decayed teeth may be repaired using a procedure called composite bonding.
The dental composite material has the look of dentin and enamel. It is applied to the cavity or onto the surface of a tooth
and then sculpted into shape, contoured and hardened with a high-intensity light. The material blends well with the surrounding
tooth structure to create a natural looking tooth.
- Teeth Whitening: Teeth are often discolored from smoking, food, and dark colored drinks. They also tend to get darker as we
age. Bleaching the teeth can lighten the shade of your teeth and enhance the appearance of your smile. We offer several different
bleaching systems.
- Veneers: Veneers can be made of composite or porcelain laminates. They are adhesively bonded to the surface of a tooth to
correct and repair chips and cracks and will improve a worn appearance or severe tooth discoloration. They can also be used to
correct gaps in your teeth.
- Dental Implants: Dental implants are artificial tooth root replacements that are used to replace missing teeth. Although
Dr. Fee does not do the surgery to place the implants, she does consult with the surgeon regarding the treatment plan and
performs the restorative work once the implants have been placed. Implants can be used to replace a single missing tooth or
multiple missing teeth.
Perio Protect –
Perio Protect is a non-invasive, comfortable method of treating periodontal or gum disease. 80 % of American adults have gum disease in
some form. It causes everything from bad breath to sore, bleeding gums and tooth loss. Once diagnosed, Dr. Fee may recommend a Perio
Tray. It is a special soft, flexible tray that that fits over your teeth. The Perio Trays are worn at home and deliver medication
right to the source of the infection. They hold the medicine in place long enough to kill the bacteria responsible for causing the
disease. How often and how long you wear the trays depends upon the severity of your disease, but it is often only worn for
minutes a day.

Brite Smile –
If you need your teeth whitened in a hurry, BriteSmile may be for you. Within a couple of hours your teeth can be
lightened several shades with the BriteSmile system. A whitening gel is applied to your teeth and then activated by BriteSmile’s
gentle blue light. You relax for 20 minutes while the gel does its work. This process is repeated two more times, leaving you
with a brighter smile.
Laser therapy –
We use a soft-tissue laser in our office. A laser is a device that uses light energy to perform work. Lasers are
unique because they can treat targeted tissue while leaving surrounding tissue unaffected. It is this property among others that
allows us to perform very precise procedures. The laser can be used to aid in the treatment of periodontal disease, decrease
the pain and length of healing of both apthous ulcers and herpetic lesions, and for minor soft tissue surgeries. Because
the laser may seal off blood vessels and nerve endings, there is typically less pain, swelling or bleeding after the procedure,
and often little or no anesthetic is needed during the procedure.
